Classic British

Who doesn’t love a British Classic? At Rust Republic, we definitely have a soft spot for them!

We’ve had a great selection of British Classics pass through our doors for a variety of different needs from general maintenance and recommission to full restorations with a host of new panels.

Whether it’s cracking out the imperial spanners to fix an oil leak or balancing a pair of misbehaving SU carburettors, British classics definitely have a certain character about them

TR6 after bespoke wiring upgrade for improved lighting

However, these are the challenges we enjoy at Rust Republic along with implementing our suggestions on how to improve the reliability of these cars whilst maintaining the ‘standard’ look.

Whether it’s simple upgrades to improve lighting or modernising cooling systems to cope with the inevitable traffic jams we encounter nowadays, they all help our customers get the best out of their classic.

And when one of your restorations gets chosen to become a Corgi Vanguards model, well there’s another story! This rather unique Australian specification 1983 Rover SD1 3500 Vanden Plas ‘EFi’ came to us for a full respray in its original Opaline Green Metallic after nearly becoming part of the banger racing fraternity. Luckily the car was saved and spotted out and about at a car show after being restored where Corgi contacted the owner about making a replica model of the exact vehicle, number plate et al! Please contact the team to discuss your British Classics vehicles needs with us.
